About

With an inherent instinct for colour, pattern and a deep appreciation of classic style, Tom Carey has carved out a unique niche within the world of interior design. Taking a distinctive and daring approach, he creates spaces that are visually striking and emotionally captivating. His studio works on projects in and outside of London.

Raised and educated in Oxford, Tom attributes his keen interest in historic design to the fact that he grew up immersed in the city’s rich and diverse architectural influences. He incorporates these influences in his work, combining them with a fresh and contemporary perspective. As well as running the studio, Tom also lectures on interior design, including the history of interior style and how to successfully use antiques in contemporary interiors.

He graduated as 2014 Student of the Year from KLC School of Design after which he worked for interior design practice Run for the Hills, before setting up the studio in 2018.
